The British Museum houses many Egyption and Greek artifacts, and of course, the Rosetta Stone!

I couldn't resist taking a photograph of this unique sculpture to the right of the entrance.  Very interesting, don't you think?

This Neried Monument from the Lykian Tombs is a bit more elaborate than the previous burial site.  It is of Greek and Persian influence.

The bronze face is on the wall adjacent to the sarcophagus.  Scientists analyzed her skull and believe this is what she looked like upon her death.  They calculated that she would have been about 50 years old.
