I am stting here two and a quarter hours into the three hour window I was given for a Comcast person to come out and try to find out why my internet signal suddenly and inexplicably, intermittently goes weak, why my emails get lost in cyberspace..... I have had a theory for the past three years or so that it could well be something to do with the fact that the cable box outside my house leans over, fills with water, and have told them this, but I am a mere female, so what do I know!
This is their last chance to put it right, if they do not replace this box and give me a perfect internet connection, I have told them I am switching to WOW!
....follow up.... the engineer arrived about five minutes after I uploaded this. Of course the signal was working wonderfully well while he was here, he could see nothing wrong, except maybe a nut that he tightened. He said that most boxes get water and trash in them and it does not affect the signal at all.
Keep your fingers crossed that whatever he twiddled has solved my problem and that someone does come out next week to replace my box once he gets back and puts in his special request order!
