It is the first annual Oktoberfest here today, I popped over just after noon to see what it was like, and hope to go back this evening with my friends to enjoy some German beer and food and music..... The tent was beautifully decorated, someone went to a lot of trouble to carve those pumpkins and I liked the floating beer-balloons. There are a couple of TV screens in the tent so no-one will miss the Tigers game!

Later..... I did go back in the evening and the pumpkins looked extra special as they had different coloured lights in each one. There was a different band, playing good dance music, German style, lots of young German people enjoying themselves, AND the Tigers won and are going to the World Series!!
