If a new broom sweeps clean, I wonder what three new brooms will do!?
When Julia was here visiting, we went for pedicures and as it was quite late
in the day, they were sweeping the floors with an amazing Vietnamese broom.
When we had our flooring replaced recently, it was Vietnamese men who did an
excellent job for us and they swept up afterwards, I asked about the broom that
they were using and where I might find one. They said they worked really well on tiled
floors and were from an Asian market and would be about $3,
so the other day when I popped into the nail salon to make an appointment for myself,
I asked Tina, the lovely girl who does my nails, where I might be able to buy three brooms,
one for the house, one for the back garden and one for the front garden,
to which she replied that she would get some for me as it was easier than trying to explain where the shop was.
She was so kind and surprised me the next day with these three in different colours - aren't they pretty?
She had got up early to go to the market before work to pick them up for me. Thank you Tina!
