In my family, we love Bovril on toast, but I have had great difficulty
of late finding any locally here in Michigan. I don't know why it has
disappeared off the store shelves, so asked my English friends if they
knew the reason. Nobody could shed any light on the matter, but Sue asked
her husband Larry, who was making a trip to England, to bring some back
for me and he VERY kindly brought three jars! I had to photograph the
little beauties on my kitchen counter before opening one and spreading
it on toast for my lunch..... and Harry's and Sayer's..... we all loved it!
