Sandhill Crane Portrait

Kensington Park, MI view map

Sayer and I were out shooting early this morning and saw a lot
of beautiful wild animals and birds such as this Sandhill Crane,
which was actually wandering around the parking lot with its
partner and their baby, as we were about to head for home.

Wow! Any closer and you would have had to get your macro lens out :) v

Every time I think I'm over wanting to get a 400mm prime, you or Sayer or Janet post a picture like this! Of course the photographer has to know how to use the lens to get a shot like this. I'm also jealous because I haven't seen a Sandhill Crane except in pictures. Nice shot.
