A truly spectacular image, Mo. The bottles in this quantity and perspective are incongruous, the road leading in to them symbolizes a dead end. This could be a perfect illustration for a magazine article on alcoholism. The color is spectacular as well -- as subtle and rich as an old masters. The key is the camera itself -- you use the LX2's 16:9 format to give you a 28mm perspective that allows you to move in and stress detail, yet still get a lot in the picture. And your cropping is perfect as well -- there is no sky, trees, walls or other distractions to dilute the overwhelming presence of thse bottles. I have never seen a work of art like this before, and you do justice to it with this image.
Congratulations, Mo.
