Flower pictures best express ideas when you abstract them, such as you do here.
To show the whole flower is only description, which is fine for a seed catalog, but not for expression. To abstract it, is to emphasize the structure of the flower, its color, and function. All of that and more are in this image, Mo. Your vantage point organizes it as a series of thrusting diagonals, exploding out of the core against a flaming backdrop. You have truly made a volcano out of a blossom.
