I like the inclusion of the blue pattern and green leaves symbolizing optimism. While poverty is a fact, people living in poverty can still feel beauty and joy.

He was not hiding , he had no idea I was taking this picture, but I also think it conveys suffering and a hard life

A very sad image. She is probably hiding from your camera, but this could also be interpreted as an expression of suffering.
