APRIL 2007: Jeremy and I were intent on adventure. Climbing to the peak of an active volcano is what inspired us. We did just that at Rincon de la Vieja National Park. After a grueling climb, we witnessed complete cloud cover and were nearly blown over by bone chilling winds. At our campsite at Sector Santa Maria evil blood-sucking flies called "Bocones" left us itching everywhere. Yuck! The sulfurous hot springs ended our trip on a relaxing note.
