September 2003: Matcha(my secretary), her boyfriend Cristian, Deb and I took Baby on a hardcore journey into the depths of Bosque Eterno de los Ninos. It has some of the most pristine rainforest that I've encountered in Costa Rica. Leaving Ciudad Quesada, we enterned the reserve from the eastern side arriving at the Pocosol Biological Station two intense hours later. Crossing over Penas Blancas River on a crickety, suspension bridge freaked us out a bit, especially in my super-heavy Isuzu Rodeo. The highlights included a photogenic crab, bubbly thermal springs and trails that led us through a primary rainforest wonderland. Here's the website for BEN: http://www.acmonteverde.com/bosque.html
