Basswood finished with acrylic paints and oil. The inspiration for this piece came from watching too many M and M Food ads while watching curling bonspiels this spring. The ovoid shape of the cartoon penguin and the approaching Easter season collided in my brain just as the curling rocks in the games that I was watching.
