The best part of the Clark Fields redo was the entranceway on the north side of Clark Hill, just west of Quigley. This area was an eyesore for as long as I can remember. It was a huge empty lot consisting of broken cement, asphalt, and stone. The city filled in the lot with dirt and created a rolling hill that has a nature preserve feel. Some parts of the fill are 25 feet high and hide the impound lot nicely. I walked back along the access trail, which I guess the cops use to make sure no one is up to no good or trying to break into the impound lot. I was immediately warned by various birds that this was their area and to not disturb their young. I also saw some bunnies and what looked like a coyote paw print.
