There were hundreds of people who came to Auschwitz & Birkenau on April 11, 2018, ahead of the International March of the Living.
I photographed this woman as she was remembering her loved ones who perished during the Holocaust.
She and her family were there to participate in the activities the following day.

The International March of the Living celebrated its 30th Anniversary on April 12, 2018, as people marched down the same 3-kilometer path leading from Auschwitz to Birkenau on Holocaust Remembrance Day – Yom Hashoah – as a tribute to all victims of the Holocaust.
