Cairo, Egypt, ca. 1025 C.E..
The oldest existing Haggadah manuscript, found in the Cairo Genizah.
Part of a larger liturgical codex dating from the 10th century, the Haggadah includes an ancient Palestinian form of the Passover service, which differs at various places from what later became standard.
For example, this Haggadah asks only three, instead of the usual four, ritual questions about the Passover meal.
The section on the "four sons" is also absent.
