Belzebuth Beer - It's devilishly different!

My husband & I first tried Belzebuth in Barcelona and fell in love with it. We bought these 3 bottles at a small grocery store in Cadeques, Spain last year and brought it home. We had been saving it for a special occasion and finally popped the caps last week. :-)))
It was delicious!!!!

BELZEBUTH - from Brasserie Grain D'Orge (in France) is a very unique golden ale in the world at 13% alc./vol. It is a top-fermented all malt filtered ale. Its pungent taste is a result of a particular variety of yeast and mixture of three different malts. No extra alcohol is added to the natural process nor water is removed to increase its strength. This golden ale has a complex aroma, which almost defies description with fullness of flavors overcoming the warming sensation of alcohol.
Perfect as an aperitif or with a sinful dessert.

Usually need a dopple or triple boch to reach those levels. I'm thirsty now.

Wow, 13% alcohol content, that is very high. I checked our local bevmo store on line and they have it available. I'll get one or two tomorrow and will report back.
Great shot by the way with the tight crop and the wet bottles.

They look to have the right amount of chill too !!
For some reason your forum link did not lead me to this gallery...a pbase glitch perhaps :)

They look ready to drink and wisely I see the bottles are smaller than usual.

Love your presentation!!! Dewy bottles look very appetizing. Beautiful art on the label and you've done a great job capturing it. V

A very strong beer. Be careful with devilish 13 degrees of alcohol ! V.
