The World on Wheels

Two wheels, three, four - or more. A collection of colourful, quaint, antiquated or unusual conveyances, whether pedal-powered, horse-drawn or combustion-engined. In many developing countries, particularly in the Indian subcontinent, the owners of trucks and buses go to great lengths to decorate and personalise their vehicles, creating mobile galleries of folk art.

Thanks to Helen Betts for providing the impetus for this gallery!
