Christmas festivities take on a distinctively Australian slant on the sub-tropical Sunshine Coast! Locally-caught tiger prawns, plus sashimi-grade tuna and fresh oysters should feature alongside the cold meats in the Christmas Day spread. People can't stay out of the water for very long, although the seas can be heavy, treacherous even, if a tropical cyclone is unravelling out in the Coral Sea.
