Hanging Rock in the Macedon Ranges outside Melbourne

Hanging Rock is the legacy of a volcanic eruption of trachyte lava, dating back to the Late Miocene age (about 6 million years). It is a prominent, culturally significant landmark for three Aboriginal groups.

Nice distribution of light on the trees rocks, and sky. Not easy on these bright sunny days.
