At Bhalukpong, we have reached the lowlands, the flood plains of one of Asia's great rivers, the Brahmaputra. Now cross from Arunachal Pradesh back into Assam State. In little more than 24 hours we've come from icy verges and fleeting snowdrifts to wild bananas and bamboo groves.
