Hi there. This is a great picture!! I am trying to locate a photo of the Amboy Theater for a Christmas gift for my dad. My grandparents grew up in Amboy and that theater is first place my dad saw a movie. I'm working with the Lee County Historical Society and the train museum, but haven't seen anything as clear and as nice as this photo. Would you happen to have any more photos of downtown Amboy, IL or the Amboy Theater? Thanks in advance for your help. Have a safe and happy holidays!
You May be correct, I was guessing on the Year, it is Well before my time.

I may be wrong, but looking closely at the cars in the Amboy picture I would guess it was taken in the ealy 1940's.
