In Ashton, Illinois the UP1995 kicks up snow as it gains speed. I had just enough time to pull up to the crossing and grab this shot. It's not the shot I originally had in mind but it will have to do. I did not think that I could get ahead of the train again till Dixon and I knew exactly the spot for a good shot. I noticed on the way to Dixon that it had started to snow again and the roads were getting slick, thankful for my 4X4 I was able to gain the lead on the engine and catch it again in Dixon as planned...
