From the Cab you can see the main line interlocker with the Southern Illinois Division (Right to Left) main line eastbound track, main line westbound track, siding/diverging track to the Southern Illinois Division, and a siding. The tower that controlled all movements through the multiple crossovers used to be next to the signal bridge on the right hand side. The tower was torn down in 1985. The Nelson yard is around the wye to the south on the Southern Illinois Division.
