Mojo unexpectedly arrived in my life on Sunday 10 January 2010 when I bought him from his previous owner Emma. I'd been looking for a dog for several months, mostly from a labrador rescue society, but was always just too late to apply for those that caught my eye. Then on Saturday 9th Jan an ex-colleague from a previous job emailed me to say she knew of a lab that needed a new home. And so Mojo and I met on Sunday morning and he came home with me that lunchtime.

At the time of writing he's 13 months old and a credit to Emma who has raised a beautiful well-mannered, gentle giant of a labrador. She made the incredibly brave decision to let him go to a new home as her circumstance meant she couldn't give him the life a labrador needs. Although with me for only his fourth day he's settled very well and already I couldn't imagine him not being here. He's a big beautiful boy and I love him.
