Day 1 - Muscat

After flying from Marseille via Amsterdam, we finally arrived in Muscat around 11 pm. We got the cars and after some shopping, spent some time trying to find a quiet place to spend the night. We ended up a few kms from Al Ansab lagoons where we had our first herpethological night quest! We woke up with the sun and our first bird sightings. We left and spent the rest of the day in Al Qurm park. We took our flight to Salalah at 5 pm.
