I'm not a huge fan these days of big arena type festivals and I also only tend to make no more than occasional visits to the main stages at Glastonbury, prefering instead to flit between the many smaller stages where I can discover the new, diverse & interesting sounds as well as taking in some old favourites. I passed on the likes of Oasis, Paul McCartney & Muse and instead plumped for Spearhead, 1 Giant Leap & Baka Beyond for my late evening entertainment this year. It also means that I can have some chance of getting some pretty reasonable images without either having to zoom in on a spec in the distance or battle my way through crowds thousands strong to get a photo of the band.
