We joined the enormous crowds in the Pyramid Field for England’s World Cup game against Slovenia but as always we also spent many hours wandering aimlessly on the Wednesday and Thursday so that Lucy could get her bearings and some appreciation of the phenomenal scale of Glastonbury. There was lots of new stuff to see in the late night areas of Arcadia, Shangri La, The Unfair Ground, Block 9 and The Common. Loads of changes also in the Dance Village and even the Other Stage Field, which I have often considered to be rather soulless, looked fantastic with lots of new flags adding colour in the sunshine.
