On each of my 4 previous visits to Off The Tracks we have been blessed with fabulous late summer sunshine but I’m afraid it was pay-back time this year. High winds wrecked stalls, tents & gazebos and persistent rain put paid to all of the usual outdoor activities in the courtyard. However the great thing about OTT is that it is predominantly held indoors and so a great time was still had by all other than the hapless stallholders.
The Saturday night headline slot was filled by the mighty Dreadzone and the “bouncing crew” went ballistic as they filled the stage with their dubby dance sounds. Similarly Transglobal Underground received a fantastic reception for their Friday night headline billing.
The wide selection of ales, stouts & ciders was up to its usual standard and the bar area rang into the early hours to the sound of drumming & folk music while others danced the night away in the “Chill Out” barn.
Congratulations to Andy, Boz & the rest of the crew. Another stunningly successful weekend despite the weather.
