Off The Tracks 2005

Andy, Boz & the rest of the OTT team excelled themselves this year by booking the legendary Hawkwind to headline the Saturday night, ably supported by other personal favourites, Oojami, Kamel Nitrate & many others.

Once again we enjoyed/suffered a blisteringly hot weekend at the Castle Donnington Farmhouse. The ale flowed and our encampment grew again with more than 20 friends camped together this year. The only negative in an otherwise wonderful weekend was the desperately sad news of a fatality in the campsite on the Saturday.

The lighting for photography at Off The Tracks can be challenging to say the least and Hawkwind in particular relied on projections & strobing so I’m afraid I’ve had to forgo atmosphere & resorted to flash in a few instances.

Your pictures are great, thankyou. The one with the plastic chicken, captioned 'i've really no idea' is of Phil Lenthill and the superb funky festival chicken!! This bird has been on stage with the greats;Deisel Park West, Nick Harper and many more. Now you have an idea!! Thanks again for the great pictures.
