If these two aspects sound grim, that is because they are what leads us to the desperation, futility and hopelessness that we feel while we are in the throes of the disease. We are either drinking, or we are thinking about drinking. Either way, we have no positive results.

AA believes "come as you are" Even a rough concept of God (God as you understand Him) will be sufficient starting place. AA does not ask you to believe in God in the same way that they do. But most would agree that the program is based upon Biblical principles.

If caught, the PA DUI laws specify that your punishment will be related to how much alcohol is in your system. The lowest level is enacted when you're caught with a blood alcohol level (BAC) of .08 to .099. The intermediate level is .1 to .159. Anything over .16 is punished at the most severe level.

It is very similar to a tree, as the tree grows, the roots grow deeper and deeper. The first 3 steps of alcoholics anonymous are your roots. These are your foundation for growth.

A more important function of AA is to help members grow emotionally and spiritually, gradually becoming the best possible version of their original selves.


Once you find a drunk driving attorney that you think can help you with your case, do your best to be as cooperative as possible. Tell him or her what exactly happened before, during and after you were arrested. He or she needs all the big and small details of the event. Do not forget or leave out anything, because even the things that you think are unimportant are essential for him or her to defend your case.

Take a rest - Pick one or 2 days per week that you do not drink any alcohol based drinks. Then, attempt to cover a full 7 days devoid of drinking. Record in your journal how you feel both emotionally and physically for the days you don't drink. The more positive that you are, so much the better you'll tend to feel.

I have been to a few of there meetings and spoke to a number of people who have also attended there classes and most people seem to be giving me mixed feelings "It's a bunch of non-serious people that have no effective means of dealing there problems (Alcohol)". People have even told me that there techniques there use are not to modern day life, and they still live back in the old times.

Some people think that since they know the drunk driving laws, they can handle their own case without a lawyer. However, knowing the laws is not enough. When cases go to court, the driver defendant needs to also know rules of criminal procedure, rules of evidence, and local court rules and procedures.
