OVERVIEW OF OHANAMI
Ohanami gives players the chance to build intricate gardens, all the while earning points for doing so. Players may only have a maximum of three gardens throughout the course of a round. These gardens grow by adding new cards to them To do so, the numbers of the new card must be higher than the highest card in the garden or lower than the lowest card in the garden.

Each player will take turns rotating around the group until there are no cards left to choose from. This signifies the end of a round, which there are three of in the game. Work strategically to build your garden with the highest points before the game comes to an end!

SETUP
The game requires simple set up. Shuffle the deck and deal each player 10 cards. Ensure that someone has a pen and the scorepad handy to keep up with scores throughout the rounds. The game is ready to begin!

GAMEPLAY
To begin, the first player will choose two cards from their hand to play in front of them, facing up. They will then pass their deck to the person beside them, rotating clockwise around the group. That player will also choose two cards and pass the deck to the next player.

Players are only allowed to have three gardens at a time, so only three columns of cards. Players may use both cards, use only one, or discard both into the discard pile in the middle of the group.

To build a garden, paying close attention to the numbers on the cards is important. To play a card into a garden, that card must have a number higher than the highest number in the garden or lower than the lowest number in the garden. If it falls in between these two numbers it cannot be played into that garden, but it can create a different garden.

After there is no more cards to be played, the round comes to an end. Players than tally their points and document it on the scorepad. Gameplay continues counterclockwise for round two and clockwise for round three. The game comes to an end after round three.
