I'd like to share with you a story that happened to me last vacation I took aboard a boat through the Arctic. It sounded fantastic, National Geographic trip through the ice and back with Polar bears and other wildlife. There was going to be the ice where eyes can see, snow, and ice everywhere. Man-made machinery was set to take on the elements, and cut through the frozen northern desert. It sounded like a magnificent project, a massive battle with the north weather, the north pole.

I was advised by my supervisor to bring everything I had access to. To extend my working space, I packed my laptop. According to them, electricity was not an issue. It would be a tough task, but I didn't know what to anticipate. https://2mp3.cx I did not realize that I'd be disconnected from my internet just two days into my 14-day journey and disappear from Earth for the following ten days. It happened, and I was devastated. Any trip, no matter how difficult or distant, should result in an abrupt disconnect from the technology world, not in 21st century. In addition, I've got unfinished business to deal with during the next week, but I also didn't prepare myself for the time off.

It doesn't matter if you are forced to go offline. Internet is everywhere, so if your home network is experiencing issues there are plenty of nearby McDonalds that provide free WiFi access. Even better, you can bring your laptop to Starbucks so that you can relax at a table and surf the Internet whenever you want to. But no cafe or restaurant will be able to help you further north, and a few hours from the nearest shack, with electricity produced by an ineffective generator.. There's no internet available. https://2mp3.cx Two alternatives are available in these situations: switch off the internet and bring your satellite connection.

I am unable to afford a satellite phone, it is too expensive, especially to use it for Internet access. But I will next time make a complete collection of audio and video prior to venturing into the unknown without Internet. Last time I had only two songs. The songs were downloaded back in the day so all I had to listen to were three jazz tracks and one song I didn’t know what it was called. This is it. Four tunes for two weeks of no music. If I knew this would happen I would have planned. I would have loaded my laptop with TV shows, films music videos, audio files that contained songs and podcasts. My most loved podcasts were ones that I would listen to for hours. It's simple to download them, then convert to mp3 and save them on my computer. Then, I can just lie on my bed and listen to the podcasts I love at home. This could have been my golden hour or two weeks of gold, but ended up being 2 weeks of looking at the ceiling and running out to catch passengers each when a sound is heard in the corridors..

The trip was empty , literally and metaphorically. Never have I ever been so bored. I was aware that the ice was too thick and that the boat would have no choice but to turn around and go back to civilization. It was not a surprise. However, hours upon hours of downtime could have been listening to podcasts, viewing DIY videos on home repair, or simply enjoying music. Next time I will convert YouTube videos to mp4 and MP3 formats on my laptop. Music can boost your spirits and make you feel good. Hulu as well as Netflix apps can download offline movies and shows. It is also possible to bring them along on your long arctic trek. You don't want to lose time in boredom. Best of luck!
