| Stripburger & Chicken at Fashion Show to Close This Summer Our first visit to Stripburger & Chicken at Fashion Show Mall was a roller coaster ride of emotions. First, we were thrilled to discover Stripburger serves some of the best burgers and chicken tenders we’ve had in Las Vegas. Second, we were told by a staffer Stripburger will close by July 2022. Stripburger While very visible, it’s hard to tell Stripburger is an entire restaurant and bar with much deliciousness inside. Lots of people discovered Stripburger following the Strip shutdown due to the pandemic. It was one of the first restaurants to reopen, and gained lots of fans at a time when Strip traffic was almost non-existent and cyclists would cruise Las Vegas Blvd. and stop by for food and drinks. Stripburger looks like a hamburger stand, but there’s an entire restaurant inside. Stripburger is operated by Lettuce Entertain You, the company behind the adjoining El Segundo Sol (formerly Cafe Ba Ba Reeba). We’re told when Stripburger closes, El Segundo Sol will expand into the space. Apparently, tacos and margaritas are killing it next door. Lettuce Entertain You also operates some of our favorite Las Vegas restaurants, including Mon Ami Gabi and Eiffel Tower restaurant at Paris and Joe’s Seafood, Prime Steak and Stone Crab at Forum Shops. Stripburger is on our list of favorite Las Vegas restaurants until July, so there’s that. Stripburger doesn’t have an expansive menu, but what it does, it does really well. Without us, how would you know this stuff? And don’t say anything dumb like “Google.” Rude. The restaurant is apparently known for its Blue Cheese Burger, but we aren’t into foreign food, so we went with the Bacon and Cheddar Burger. Why didn’t you tell us about this place sooner? That was plenty of food, but we couldn’t resist trying the chicken tenders. The “buttermilk-fried jumbo chicken tenders” are some of the best in Las Vegas. We were bummed they were out of honey mustard dipping sauce, but the K.C. Barbeque did the trick. 온라인카지노 Among the top three tenders in Vegas, along with Whiskey Licker Up at Binion’s and Cane’s. The tenders come with fries, but we also got an order of Garlic Herb Fries just so we could tell you how they are. They’re great, too. Yes, our arteries tapped out, but it was fun while it lasted. The prices at Stripburger are reasonable given its very visible Strip location. Since successful restaurants don’t tend to close in Las Vegas (unless there’s a sex scandal), we get the feeling the location provided some challenges to Stripburger. (And possibly the weather, as it’s an open-air restaurant.) It’s highly visible, but we don’t suspect there’s much foot traffic at that spot. The restaurant sits across from the former Alon site, and former Wynn West site, both projects scrapped, and now the parcel’s being used as a laydown yard for equipment being installed at the MSG Sphere. To sweeten the deal for customers, Stripburger offers a happy hour, Monday through Thursday from 3:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. Deals include draft beer for $4-5, call drinks for $5 and solid deals on drunchie food like burgers, fries, nachos and chicken wings. Cheap eats for your next Strip adventure. The clock’s ticking. The service is great, and there’s a bar front and center, making Stripburger perfect for solo dining. |
