We were traveling just a few hours away from home, two states over, haven't even left the country, yet we were unsure of what was to come. It was exactly like how many of those horror movies would start - driving in the dark on a winding highway, with thick bushes along both sides of the road. It was pretty like a forest.. ytmp3 We were in North Dakota, although of course, many of the films begin from Maine.. The plan was to arrive at our little rented cabin by the dark, but an issue with the car turned into a delays of several hours, after we realized that the vehicle didn't have a tire lift jack that could effectively change the tire. It's possible that someone took it or misplaced it.


After a three-hour tire change and finally, we arrived. It was snowing. The silence filled the region. Thenit was an avalanche. It pushed down an enormous amount of snow right onto the road. For enjoyment, we were in the deep in the swirling white river. Our main concern was to avoid getting pinned in the trees, which were partially blown away from the ground and floated into front of us. Fortunately navigation wasn't completely damaged and we were able push through the snow. Then we realized we were stuck in the snow until dawn.

I knew the direction we were headed, that's why I prepared three different iPads stuffed with HULU and Netflix pre-downloaded shows. I also utilize an online video download site to download several episodes of shows I love on Youtube or Daily Motion. I can't find these shows on any streaming service. It's super convenient to be able of downloading full-length films from these sites and have them accessible on my device in case of an emergency. I couldn't let the time slip away without filling it with eye candy and other amazing TV shows I've brought with me. If it weren't for getting stuck on the road, we'd be watching these shows anyway when completed unpacking the cabin. Because, of course, these days the cabin comes stocked with firewood and drinks... Hot tubs are also available for those who want.. In the bedroom suite.

It may seem a little excessive, but this is what we got. However, after the long drive all we wanted was to unwind in the bubbles. After another day on the Ipad and all the programs that were recorded were watched. I am a child of Television, I cannot live without it. Don't think that I am a bad person, everyone likes to watch TV sometimes, and if you don't then there is something wrong with you, not me.. There are people who were raised without television or chose to not be able to watch television when they became adults, but they miss out on quite a lot.. I wouldn't advise anyone to place a 5-month-old baby in front the TV and watch it develop. No. However, I believe that a few hours of watching television is better than watching the baby occasionally. It is difficult to parent a child all on your alone. It's not easy, however, it's a wise decision. You can have everything in moderation. Television shouldn't be the only source of entertainment. Don't let anyone tell that you're not good for your child. Youtube has hundreds of educational channels that every baby can benefit from. You can try it again, and say no if you don't like it. The refusal to say no right from the beginning isn't the most beneficial option.
