In Pune, the city airport started offering a meet-and-greet service on Wednesday for flyers who need help with their luggage.
In all, 15 people have been assigned to the airport and fliers can take advantage of the service for a fee of Rs200. Flyers who require assistance with their luggage are being assisted by our team by using trolleys that carry them until they check-in, said Rajesh Damoradan, general manager (operations) of Chennai-based Global Flight Handling Services Private Limited.
Swapna Srivastava, the company's business development manager, promised flyers may pre-book the service soon through its online portal beginning next week.
