This is something I learned the hard and painful way. My mom was there all week to support me and remind me to be prepared for this event and keep it in my mind. I only shared with her my excitement about going on my first camping trip with my kids, her grandkids, and here she was at my side, huffing and puffing with suggestions and advice on any situation that could arise. I do not mind my mom's talking. Even listening to her lectures can make things uncomfortable. So I tried to finish it more quickly than I was supposed to. It was a major mistake, as I've found out the next day... or two..


We left with our car to drive the car all the way to the campsite. I was trying to do the same kind of camping experience that I had with my father in the days So I decided to go to one of the more remote spots, which, as it transpired later was located in a huge no-service zone. The result was that our mobiles were not available, and we were left completely isolated with no other campers. I'm not sorry I was hoping for to have a wonderful camping experience..

What did you do? We didn't have bars, or Internet access or even nothing. I took a laptop along with two games online, - didn't even get it out of the bag.. I had a beautiful backdrop that I could show my kids. They wanted to check their email, their texts, stay on top of school things and so on. We packed up our bags and returned to the hotel because I couldn't take it any longer. My kids made sounds similar to little piglets munching delicious food as they emerged from the WiFi-free zone. Really, my children are amazing. But that was simply embarrassing, they squealed and moaned when their phones started ringing and signalling incoming text messages and emails.

Since then, I've been able to prepare myself and to not get trapped in an area with no roaming. On our long boat ride towards our destination, I realized I needed two tablets and a laptop to keep me entertained. My tablet is loaded with Hulu offline videos on one hand, and Netflix movies on the other. The laptop is home to all my music videos and films. I've got around 600 hours of watching materials, including full Will & Grace, Friends and South Park seasons and added episodes.

For my kids, I have a number of videos that are humorous things. I downloaded some music videos from Youtube and then converted them into MP3 and MP4 formats to watch or listen. I made use of this online application to download some videos. It allows me to save the video to my laptop , and I can watch it offline, if that I have power. I record a variety of TV shows, movies, and seminars on the internet. The video files are stored in the format MP4 on my computer. Then, I open them later using VLC or KMP.

Another aspect I insist on is 4k. Have you ever watched? Video is clear, incredible. I would highly recommend. Televisions that have 4K resolution come with amazing software which process the video and enhance it. The TV converts old videos into something much more. Highly recommended for all different ages!
