The Startup Connect is an international knowledge sharing platform that aims to facilitate the growth of tech startups in Asia. The program aims to build bridges between startups, investors and policymakers. It is open to startup teams from any country, irrespective of nationality. The program is held in the heart of the Carolina University campus, Polk Place (also known as the Quad). It provides networking opportunities and career development opportunities for young entrepreneurs. The location of the event is a perfect combination of autumn beauty and urban life.

The project was co-organized by UNC-Chapel Hill and Central Carolina Community College, and brings together students and local startups.
