There are no guarantees that a store near your campsite will have these items or will have the type of items that you want. Take along plenty of drinking water. You need to stay hydrated, and you will need the water to prepare your food. Depending on the nature of your camping trip, this water may also be needed for clean-up and washing of the hands. It is better to bring along more than you need than not enough. When you are purchasing your camping supplies, spend a little extra on the better supplies. If you buy the better quality products, you will only have to buy these things once. After you have them bought, camping can be a very affordable way to get away from home for a weekend. If you are interested in camping alone or with friends, make sure you have prepared an emergency kit. This kit must include the basics for the event of an emergency. If you think there will be snakes, you might want to include antivenom. A great tip for anyone that is going camping is to take plenty of water. Thus, campers will find that they are greatly inconvenienced by their proximity to the restrooms. Prepare your camp for snakes if you are camping in an area that is known for snakes. Stay away from rocks, bushy areas and stacks of wood. Check everything you have on you to ensure a snake isn't hiding in your clothing or bags. Seal your tent. Pack edges with enough sand or earth so snakes can't sneak in while you're sleeping.
