When my boyfriend decided to travel to Istanbul together, I wasn't sure. For me, Barcelona with passion, Provence with lavender and Norway with morning fog between the Grand Canyon may be more attractive. "Turkey? Isn't there a war there?" When I heard that we were going to Istanbul, the first reaction of most friends was this. I didn't know anything about Turkey. I only knew about Turkish barbecue. I packed my bags in confusion and embarked on a trip to Turkey.
I applied for an e-visa online and signed it immediately after paying $65. It's very convenient. It takes two hours to get to Istanbul by plane from Bologna, Italy. The plane passed Croatia halfway, overlooking the blue sea and the small islands scattered in the middle of the sea, adding another destination to its travel list.
After getting off the plane, we took the bus to Taksim square. It was 9 p.m. After getting off the bus, we dragged our suitcases to the city center and looked at the bustling kebab shops on the side of the road. Only then did we really feel that we were in Turkey, which is famous for barbecue. At the door of each store, we were warmly received, shouting "welcome welcome", hoping that we could eat in the store. After choosing with my boyfriend for a while on Yummyadvisor, I went into a crowded shop and ordered two barbecue rolls. Because the Turkish barbecue rolls in other parts of Europe basically use beef or chicken, while the most authentic local Turkey should be mutton. Many people think it's delicious, and I... Maybe it's too authentic mutton. I'd better choose chicken.
Boyfriend ANN is a plan maniac. Every day's plan is very rich, including which scenic spot to visit, which boat to take, and which restaurant to eat, which are firmly written in the plan. I always like to go where I see. Naturally, I have a little conflict with him. But between lovers, it is a process of mutual running in. In retrospect, the whole trip was perfect because of his plan. In just five days, we visited all kinds of classics in Istanbul, the streets and alleys of local people, the fresh fruit market and the surrounding small islands. Although xiao'an doesn't understand Chinese, he still needs to praise him secretly here.
The next day, our original plan was to visit Istanbul's most famous blue mosque, but unfortunately, the blue mosque was under repair and could not be developed until a month later, so we returned disappointed. But outside the mosque, I saw hundreds of Muslim worship - stupor. That is, during the period from sunset to sunset, with the Koran chanting in the horn, devout Islamists worship in the direction of the holy land. As a non believer, looking at all this is also quite shocking.
Even though we didn't visit the famous blue mosque, we went to St. Sophia Cathedral. The church is located opposite the blue mosque. Like many churches, the walls are painted with murals, and the round vault is sandwiched with colored windows. Outside the church, the green grass was filled with tourists from all over the world. Vendors were selling snacks. Shanghai gulls flew overhead. The breeze was not pleasant.
In order to climb the Galata tower and overlook the whole Istanbul, we lined up for more than an hour before finally entering the tower. After entering the tower, I take the elevator to the top. The space in the top corridor is very narrow, coupled with many tourists, so I hold my mobile phone all the time for fear of falling down. Xiao'an's plan is really great. He may have made accurate calculations. Through the ingenious combination of queuing time and climbing time, we happen to have a sunset at the top of the tower. Standing at the highest end of Istanbul, overlooking a city with two cultures of Asia and Europe, with Asia on the left and Europe on the right, watching the sunset slowly fall from the sea level, the afterglow renders the whole sky and turns Istanbul into a girl powder.
Istanbul is really full of cats and lazy sleeping dogs. I've never seen a dog lie on the road and sleep instead of jumping around, and don't care about people passing by. On the third day, we came to Asia by boat. It's really amazing that a city across Asia and Europe can go to another continent by boat. The most famous markets in Asia are all kinds of fresh fruits and vegetables, all kinds of seafood and fish, all kinds of clothes stalls and trinket shops, which give me the illusion of being in China. Fresh juice can be seen everywhere on the roadside. The juicing process of pure fruit without adding is shown to customers in a big way. A cup of pure juice is only 1 euro. In Italy, the same juice should be at least 4 euros. People living in Istanbul must be very happy. They can eat cheap and fresh fruit every day. It's really enviable.
The fourth day's journey was the most unforgettable. We took a boat to the largest B ü y ü Kada island in the prince islands. Motor vehicles are prohibited on the island, so people on the island can only drive carriages or bicycles and walk. Xiao an and I rented two bicycles and started our tour around the island. Every minute on the island was shocked because it was so beautiful. Because there are no motor vehicles, the air is very fresh and very quiet. The only sounds you can hear are the sound of horse hoofs and birds. Green trees are planted on both sides of the road, and one vacation villa after another is as beautiful as in the film.
In the forest, we met a very elegant brown horse eating grass. We slowly approached it and fed it grass. It first smelled it and then confirmed that it was the right grass. I fed the wrong grass several times. Finally, I found the right grass to get the favor of Mr. Ma. Then he looked down at the grass next to him, and there were two more horses. One little horse was sleeping and the other black horse was eating grass leisurely. It turned out that a family of three came out for a picnic. I really didn't want to leave, but I was forcibly dragged away by xiao'an because we had to climb the mountain.
Step by step, I climbed the 200 meter mountain and wanted to be safe under the scorching sun. Finally, with mutual encouragement, we climbed to the top of the mountain. The scenery at the top of the mountain is really beautiful, overlooking the blue sea and other small islands. We ate in the restaurant on the top of the mountain, enjoying the beautiful scenery and eating barbecue and watermelon. Ann said that there was nothing else in life.
On the last day, Ann finally had no plan, so we drank coffee and had breakfast in no hurry. There was a particularly lovely cat sleeping in the cafe. After waking up, she suddenly climbed onto my leg and went to sleep. I stroked its hair. I really liked it very much. Then, then I was caught by the cat and bled. Because I haven't been vaccinated, I have to get vaccinated. I'm not afraid of anything. I'm really afraid of injections. When I was in high school, I cried in public because of the physical examination and injection. This time is no exception. Because I was too afraid, I cried while playing xiao'an, and xiao'an was helpless. It can be said to be a very dramatic day, ha ha.
We took the tram, which is said to be the oldest tram in the world. This means of transportation in the last century is really very artistic. Later, I visited grand bazaar, the largest bazaar in Istanbul There are more than 4000 stores. Here, you can find all kinds of spices, candy, gold and silver jewelry, clothing bags, as well as all kinds of high imitation Prada, chanel and so on. The vendors at the door of each shop have their own tricks. When I saw that I was Chinese, I said "Hello, beauty, I love you" in fluent Chinese. I was also very drunk. When I learned that xiao'an was Italian, the vendor's language mode immediately switched to Italian. I have to say, it's not easy to sell things.
In Istanbul, what makes me feel most is not all kinds of glorious churches and mosques, nor any cultural and historical sites, but "life". In this city full of various cultures, people live in a variety of ways, including vendors who set up stalls to sell in multiple languages, Muslim women wrapped in full-length gowns, men with gold necklaces, blonde tourists with cameras, old women who are unable to sell with two bags of facial tissue paper, and little girls who turn the trash can for food at 1 a.m. with skillful movements. I try to observe everyone's eyes. After just two seconds of contact, I can't see their life experience. Maybe I have too little experience to read what the eyes behind the robe are thinking. In short, after the green light is on, everyone's accelerated pace, the sound of sirens on the road and the chanting of the Koran on the horn constitute Istanbul. When you listen carefully, behind each sound is a story of trying to live.
