Flirting doesn't come easily to everyone. Even the most confident people will freeze up and utter a wimpy "hey" when they see their crush approaching them in the hallways. Don't panic. There are many tips that can help you flirt better and attract your crush.

1. Be confident. There is nothing more sexy than confidence. If you are confident and strutting down streets like you own them, then your crush (and everyone else) will notice. The girl who is special will be loved by your crush.

2. Show interest in your loved ones' lives. Everybody loves a compliment and almost everyone enjoys talking about themselves. Talk to your crush if you have the opportunity. Ask them many questions about their lives to show that you really care. They'll appreciate how curious you were about them and they'll def be looking forward to another conversation.

3. Draw attention to your lips. It may sound absurd but it is actually very effective. Lip gloss or chapstick are a must-have for every girl. Layer on some lip gloss if you spot your crush. They will be imagining their lips all day.

4. When you see your crush in the hallways, smile and say hello. I know, when you're walking down the hall and you see your crush approaching, it can be the scariest feeling in the world. Your gut reaction will probably be to look down at your phone and pretend like you're in a furious text conversation, but ignore those instincts, look up, and smile at them. You don't have to engage in a lengthy conversation (unless you choose to). Wave for a split second, say hello, and then move on. Boom, you'll be on your crushes radar.

5. You shouldn't ignore your crush, but not for too long. This seems counterintuitive doesn't you think? Imagine running into your crush at McDonald's with a group of their friends. Say hi to their friends first and strike up a convo. Your crush may feel a bit alone until you reach out to them and include them in your day.

6. Master the bump-and-flatter. You may "accidentally" bump into a hottie at an event. You can laugh and say, "Oh, sorry. I can become a complete klutz when it comes to cute people. They'll be instantly flattered and want more information about you. You can then introduce yourself and start a conversation.

7. You should let them see you looking at their faces. This seems scary, I know. Usually, when someone catches you staring you look away quickly so they don't realize you were literally drooling while watching them eat a hamburger. But, next time, try this instead. Get all of your confidence. When your crush notices you, smile at them and maybe even wink. gitarijada will prove that you're confident AF and will give them the excuse to come talk to you.

8. Take a look at their clothes. Ask them about the sport shirt or band shirt they are wearing. This will show that you are interested in their lives and will spark a conversation.

9. Sometimes, be clear. It could be that you are playing frisbee and accidentally throw it towards one of the beauties. A sarcastic apology can let them know that you are flirting with them (and in on the joke), and may lead to a conversation.

10. Introduce your friend. If you're afraid to initiate a convo on your own, you can bring your friend along to introduce her to your crush. This may seem weird, but sometimes it's easier to approach a person for someone else.

11. Flirt before you see them. Text, "You should wear that blue shirt tonight--it makes your eyes look amazing :) A flirty text lets your crush know you're thinking of them and will get them excited to see you later. Plus, seeing if they took your advice is a low-key way to gauge if they're interested in you.

12. Start off with something cheesy to break the ice. If you're looking for pick-up lines the only ones that will come to you are likely super lame and recycled ones. "Did it hurt...when I fell from heaven?" Or, "How heavy does an elephant weigh?" Just enough to break up the ice. You don't have to be perfect if you try to play it easy but fail. Accept your awkwardness and just be yourself. Jughead Jones will appreciate it.
