I got to thinking about where you can take my Torrevieja Holidays even though I was researching the niche I came across a point of curiosity and thought I would write somewhat about it. Maybe in that way it would inspire you to also love and perchance visit the focal point on this subject. I have discussing the Moors and the reconquest of Spain with the Christians, enlightened people about the good the Romans and who moved salt from this level to there the like their Torrevieja Holidays people will be just just a little more wiser with the area.
The story I am gonna tell just isn't about holidays and even how Torrevieja got its name, anything about towers and castles, museums or even the mountainous sierras or perhaps the Natural parks since this will be written on another day. No, as an alternative to tales about my Torrevieja Holidays I'm talking about a guy, his dream and just a little of his life. Indeed, I have never met nor been aware of him before today but had heard his name never realising it was actually this man. I'm talking about Justo Quesada Samper. He had died before I ever found Spain on my own Torrevieja Holidays but through the start his life had been a straightforward one with one big dream. Born in Orihuela 1926, he actually lived most of his life between the townships of Rojales, Elche and San Miguel de Salinas. He eventually met his wife Josephine Aniorte and by this time he had created his family business from an early on age, Justo Quesada S L. Holiday house rentals Mornington Peninsula had one over whelming dream, he wished to build his very own holiday resort where people from all walks of life from many different countries could reside in harmony, prosper and get life to the full.
He began his life's work in 1972 when he purchased 1000s of acres of land south of Rojales, where over time he built his town through points during the great difficulties. As his five children grew they'd get involved with his dream. On my Torrevieja Holidays where I have visit play golf I never took notice on the name Quesada, I just imagined it meant something as my understanding with the Spanish language then was quite diverse from from today. I didn't know it was the naming of one of the biggest developing companies for the Costa Blanca a title synonymous with Torrevieja Holidays and mostly my reason behind being here.
Now a huge number of people reside in a region that after was an almost desert region with plain hills. No history here, no Moors conquest or museums extolling the advantages of salt, just a town then one man his dream. Instead of those inconsequential hills now stands Ciudad Quesada as well as the Quesada Golf Club now called La Marquesa. Many golfers on their own Torrevieja Holidays have a round or two or possibly if you prefer a different there exists a water park as well as a landing strip for light aircraft. With so much development going on, who knows what is going to come about next, but in 1999 Quesada had its town hall and Mayor, all with this derived from one of man's dream. If you do venture out there on your next Torrevieja Holidays be sure you have Ciudad Quesada on the day of San Justo in August if the town celebrates its Patron Saint using a fiesta.
