Founded in 1980, the Gold Coast Aquarium and Beachside Cafe are located on the famous Gold Coast Highway. Just east of the bridge is Fort Lee State Park, which also offers some inherent risks to swimmers and boaters. Located on the Intracoastal Waterway, Fort Lee State Park hosts a wide variety of natural wildlife, including deer, fish, numerous types of turtles, and numerous species of birds. Like the Gold Coast Aquarium and Beachside Cafe, the town of Fort Lee has reduced its water activities to reduce mosquito counts and to preserve the natural state of the park.

Located between Melbourne and Virginia Beach, Broad Beach lives up to its nickname Surf City due to its beautiful stretch of white sand. Broad Beach's western boundary juts out into the shallow waters of the ocean, and the beach front houses a chain of hotels, shops, restaurants, art galleries, and several outdoor attractions such as the Rip Jack Guitar and the Wildfire Water Park. There are no known long term removal or condo conversions available in the area.
