Yes, I said it.. My kids have a hard time with this, they think wifi on the high up on the mountain is not that good.. While it's tiny it isn't within normal range of cell networks. My kids have to search for better internet access while my wife and I set tiny camping sites. We plan to stay here for at least a day. The small brook is close by and supplies water to our camp. Yes.. Our wife is unable to go camping without a lot of water. Therefore, we always carry our own.
While my kids check their profiles on social media I'm enjoying the view. The hill isn't too huge, but it's in close proximity by larger hills. To be in close proximity to Mother Nature We visit this hill every once in the blue moon. While I do appreciate these trips but it's not my plan to start these trips. My wife is the one who insists of taking me out, partly due to the fact that she knows how much I enjoy being out in the wild. My kids are totally different. Internet may be down at times. It's something I hate. The stream can be interrupted by something within the cloud, or by other magnetic movement for up to one minute before it is restored. This can be very annoying to me because I usually find myself hearing everything.
After a few days without WiFi, and the normal internet on our smartphones constantly going out of service, it was clear that we should be prepared. My wife and I decided to prepare for the time when our children, our children aren't connected to the internet for more than 10 minutes. Two entertainment sources were created, even when the Internet isn't available when we are camping. One was a tablet filled with music videos as well as the current chart-topping songs. Our most-loved Youtube software for converting mp3s helped us to extract songs and convert them to MP3 files before downloading onto the tablet. It works with playlists as well making it an easy process, despite the fact that it's quite lengthy. If you're having a bad day or were bored, it was possible to listen to music, watch videos and - best of all for everyone! - hear audio through headphones equipped with blue tooth. This is great, right?! It didn't make any noise.

The second tablet was mostly animated cartoons and TV shows that we streamed through Hulu and Netflix. It is also possible to save the content offline for later viewing. The quality may not be great however it's a lot of fun. We have several seasons on Breaking Bad there and many shows like Family Guy and Disenchantment. It was entertaining and very easy. Tablet 2 was introduced just a couple of times after tablet 1. It was available when we got to The Wild. My kids couldn't stop using it and watching their favorite shows. I also added a few DIY videos, such as building a tent and skinning fresh caught salmon. Things that you wouldn't normally do in cities. A few of these videos were taken from Youtube and converted into mp4 that I downloaded onto my tablet. It's much simpler to have video on the tablet while you're working and you don't want to wait for video to stream right, you need it right there.. Download videos to your tablet prior to time, so later do not waste your time doing this.

These two strategies have kept my kids busy for 4 family camping trips. They aren't afraid to leave the house now as they are aware that tablets 2 can aid them in getting through their boring afternoons and will return it home when they're prepared. I've never been happier. It's truly everything I've ever wanted, to be with my family.
