Temperature-controlled goods are cooled through active or passive means
Temperature-controlled goods are cooled both actively and passively.

You can keep the temperature of your cold-sensitive product constant throughout the whole transport journey with active cooling. In this case, a temperature specification of, for example, +15 to +25 degrees Celsius would be adequate.

Passive cooling of a shipment is possible, depending on the product and its packaging. In any case, the temperature specification is only guaranteed during flight and storage in the airport warehouse. Despite the fact that the shipment is transported by a temperature-controlled vehicle on the tarmac, time delays on the tarmac can mean that the temperature specification cannot be guaranteed.
