In 2021 the home of Representatives passed a bill which allows online sports betting. Now Georgia is the second state to legalize sports betting. There are still several items up in the air, including a bill for a statewide professional sports betting advisory board. Many state representatives have strong opposed the thought of an advisory board for online sports betting.

Several groups interested in running online sports betting in Georgia would need to register at hawaii office and pay a $10,000 annual registration fee. Many Georgia lawmakers feel that it is crucial for the administrative centre to step in and make sure that the system isn't corrupted. If the legislature passes the bill's legalization within the next two years, Georgia will join the 21st century and become among the first states in the country to legalize betting on sports.
