One of the funniest films of all-time, Man With a Van is a hilarious follow-up to the financially disastrous Argyll and Costello Christmas classic It's a Wonderful Life. With the same sort of ignorant American innocence that defined the previous movie, Russell Brand plays the eponymous Van Man, a man who travels back to the present day New York City, where the man falls in love with a young woman who works at a theater. However, instead of helping her, he chooses to go off with her in order to help save his failing business... But will they be able to save their marriage, and if they do, will Van Man destroy his family and livelihood in the process?

When you imagine Michael Caine, you probably imagine Caine in some of the most famous scenes in A Few Good Men, where he plays a bad guy who's about to get executed by the authorities. For Man With a Van, however, Caine plays Robert "Bob" Wurzelbacher, a shrewd former moving truck driver who has the experience to manage people's possessions and of course, the Van Man himself. As the film progresses, we get to know more about the eccentric man, who is able to have quite a good time doing it. He also gets out with his cousin, after being told authorities are looking to see his trucks. But when two moving trucks who are from the other side of the country decide to stop at his home, the situation get worse.

Brand is the one man who doesn't mind getting his hands dirty - literally. After letting two moving movers beat a hasty escape from his home, he gets his own truck to do the remainder of the job. Two movers are amazed by his capability to finish the job quickly and effortlessly, and even getting the two trucks he employs for the move to violate some of the laws (one of which is related to the size of the front vehicle). When they offer to assist him, Bob realizes that he has a lot more going on in his life than he believed. Yet, despite that, he's still dedicated to helping others and improving the lives of people around him.

In cheap man with a van near me , a troubled teenager named Beth finds herself having a tough time adjusting to her new life. She's always being targeted and is also uncertain about her previous life and the person she's expected to become in the new city. Man with Van shares with her family the story of moving from the city to Man With a Van, but they don't believe her tales, and she soon begins to feel a fearful of the new town. The two movers from the previous move end up helping Beth out of a bind once they learn of Bob's involvement with the move. They end up saving Beth and make Beth feel at ease in her new town.

Over time, Bob develops feelings for the local girl. Beth begins to work with him and they end up falling in love. Then, the unthinkable happens and their relationship is put on hold when Bob is laid off from his job at the news corporation.

I would highly recommend this book to someone who has been in a similar situation similar to Bob. It's a great read because it's so real and convincing. It's not a romantic tale like most books, but it's packed with adventures and great lessons. It's not your typical emotional read, neither. There's no adorable sidekicks or numerous twists.

I would recommend this book if you're someone who enjoys funny situations and who likes an exciting plot. If this sounds like the case, then this is definitely worth taking the time to read. My personal favorite was the moment the time that Bob and Beth were able to decide to move into the van of one of their friends. The whole thing made me laugh out loud numerous times. I would also say that the storyline was catchy. I didn't encounter any issues with the plot, and it kept me hooked from start to finish.

Overall, this was a great book. It's a realistic read and I think that people would recommend it. Anyone who loves to travel and are interested in adventure and simply want to see how others deal with life in a funny sort of way should absolutely check out Man With a Van by Paul Therien. It's a fast and enjoyable read that has a great plot.
