Dhaka is the capital of Bangladesh, in addition to thought to be as one of the main cities on South Asia. It is placed on the banks of Buriganga River, and also has a great population of more than twelve million. The city is referred to as the "city of mosques". Dhaka is also referred to as producer of the finest "muslin" in the planet, which happens to be a kind of cotton fabric that is finely woven, used to make dresses, curtains and other clothing materials.

The country started to fully acquire during the 19th century over the British rule. Dhaka is now the center of cultural, economic and political life in Bangladesh. o Lalbagh Fort - a beautiful castle located at the advantage of Old Dhaka. The castle was built in the reign of Prince Azam within the year 1676. Prince Azam was the third son of the great Moghul Emperor Aurangazeb. The fort includes long armored wall surfaces with octagonal citadel. There is in addition a mosque made in the fort, and also the Mauseleum of Bibi Pari, and also the Audience Hall. Guests can check out the museum within the castle, which is formally opened to the public.

o Armenian Church - centrally located in Armanitola, Dhaka. The lovely church was built by the Armenian colony during the year 1791. The church is a great ancient looking cathedral wherein its design dates back in the 17th century.


o Tara Masjid (Star Mosque) - one of the most unusual mosques in Dhaka, which also known as the "city of mosques". o Jatiyo Shongshod - Dhaka's National Parliament building located at Sher-e-Bangla Nagar. Jatiyo Shongshod is created with a huge complex geometrical design. The man behind this exclusively created system is American architect Louis Kahn. It is considered today as probably the most distinctively-looking building in Bangladesh.

o Shahid Minar - among the many monuments and mausoleums in Dhaka. This monument was built to commemorate the people who were killed during the Language Movement demos in 1952, where inside dozens of students and activists died. The monument had been a very high subject for attraction in Dhaka . Its decorative gardens had attracted many tourists and travelers both regional and abroad.
