| ITZI OBJECT OF ITZI: The objective of ITZI is to be the first player to get rid of all of your Letter Cards in your hand. NUMBER OF PLAYERS: 2 to 8 Players MATERIALS: 120 Double Sided Clue Cards, 75 Double Sided Letter Cards, and Instructions TYPE OF GAME: Word Matching Card Game AUDIENCE: 8+ OVERVIEW OF ITZI ITZI is many things! It is fast, fun, and causes tons of laughs! The goal is to answer the Clue Card with a word that begins with a letter of one of the Letter Cards found in your hand! The game is all about speed and correctness. Players will answer with ridiculous words to try and discard a Letter Card. Be quick to answer, but make sure it’s right! SETUP Setup is fast and easy. Simply separate the Clue Cards from the Letter Cards. Shuffle each deck individually. Deal each player five Letter Cards. Place the Clue Cards in the center of the playing area, and the game is ready to begin! GAMEPLAY Any player will flip over the top Clue Card, revealing it so that all players can read it. The player may read it aloud if the group decides on that. Players will quickly look at their Letter Cards, both the front and the back. If they find a letter to use, they will then yell out an answer to the Clue Card that also begins with the Letter Card that they want to use. The answer must begin with the Letter Card in their hand, and it must answer the Clue Card. If both of these conditions are met, the player may smack the Letter Card down on the Clue Card. The first player that does this gets to discard their Letter Card. A new Clue Card is then revealed. Play continues in this manner until a player has no Letter Cards left in their hand. Then the game comes to an end! END OF GAME The game comes to an end when a player no longer has any cards remaining in their hand.
