One of the most hilarious films of all-time, Man With a Van is a hilarious sequel to the financial disaster Argyll and Costello classic It's a Wonderful Life. It's a comedy with the same clueless American innocence that defined the earlier film Russell Brand plays the self-described Van Man, a man who travels back to modern-day New York City, where the man falls in love with a young woman who works at a theater. Instead of saving her, he instead decides to leave her in order to save his failing company... But are they able to save their marriage or could Van Man destroy his family and livelihood in the process?

If your mind is flooded with images of Michael Caine, you probably imagine Caine in some of the iconic scene in A Few Good Men, where he plays an evil person who's set to get executed by the authorities. The film Man With a Van, though, Caine plays Robert "Bob" Wurzelbacher, a honest former moving truck driver who understands what it's like to manage people's possessions as well as the Van Man himself. The film's story progresses and we get to know more about this peculiar man who is able to have quite a good time doing so. He even ends up getting away with his own cousin after being informed that authorities would like to see his trucks. However, when two people that are crossing the border choose to make a stop at his home, things go from bad to worse.

Brand portrays the role of the man who isn't afraid to get his hands dirty - literally. After letting two movers take a swift retreat out of his home and he is offered his own truck to do the remainder of the job. Two movers are amazed by his capacity to complete the task quickly and easily, even allowing the two trucks he employs for the move to break a few laws (one of which is related to the dimensions of the fronts of his vehicles). When they offer to assist him, Bob realizes that he has more going on within his own life that he thought. But despite all of that, he's still dedicated to helping others and making life easier for others.

Meanwhile, a disturbed young girl named Beth has a hard time adjusting to her new life. Beth is constantly being criticized however, she's disoriented about her experiences and what she's likely to become in this new place. She shares with her family the story of moving to Man With a Van, however, they aren't convinced by her claims, and she soon begins to feel a fearful of the town. The two movers from the previous move come to help her out of a tight spot when they discover Bob's involvement in the move. They end up saving Beth and make her feel safe in the new town.

Eventually, Bob develops feelings for the local girl. Beth starts working with him and they eventually fall in love. Then the unthinkable happens, and their relationship is put on hold after Bob gets laid off from his position at news corporation.

I highly recommend this book if you are someone who has had a similar experience to Bob. It's a great read because it's so real and convincing. Man and Van 's not a heartwarming story like many books, but it's filled with adventures and great lessons. It's not your typical thrilling experience either. There's no cute sidekicks or excessive twists.

I'd recommend this book to those who likes humorous situations and enjoys thrilling plots. If that's you, then this is certainly worth taking the time to read. My personal favorite was the moment in the moment that Bob and Beth were able to decide to relocate into the van of one of their mutual friends. The whole thing was hilarious and made me laugh several times. I would also say that the plot was enthralling. I had no major issues with the plot or the characters and it kept me interested throughout the entire book.

moving van rental , it was a fun book. It's realistic and I think that people would recommend it. Anyone who loves to travel or who enjoy adventure and just want to see how others deal with life in a funny sort of way must definitely check out Man With a Van by Paul Therien. It's a quick enjoyable read with a good storyline.
