What will happen if we let go of our liberties?

We must never give up our liberties and it's crucial that we do everything in our power to protect them at all costs. While many people believe that freedom is something granted by the government, they are forgetting that it starts with the individual. What freedoms do you have?

We are born into this world with certain rights, but as time goes on these rights can be taken away from us without any notice or an explanation. Libertarians argue that one should not be deprived of their liberty unless proven guilty before a jury of peers or due process has been followed. The first amendment guarantees Americans’ right to free speech, press, assembly and petitioning their government for redress of grievances.

Many people believe that a person is granted their liberty by the government, but they're forgetting that it starts with the individual. What freedoms do you have?

1) Freedom of speech: The right to express one's opinion publicly without censorship or restraint.

2) Freedom of the press: The right to print and publish newspapers, pamphlets, and books without censorship.

3) Right to worship: The right to practice any religion and take part in religious ceremonies or rituals.

4) Right to assemble: The right of people to gather together in a public place.

5) Right of association: The right to join together with other people or form clubs, groups, and organizations.

6) Freedom of movement: The right to move from one place to another within a country just as immigration.

7) Right to keep and bear arms: The right for civilians to have firearms for their safety and for sport.

8) Right to a fair trial: The right to have one's case heard by a fair and impartial jury without interference from the government.

9) Right of privacy: The right to keep information about an individual private. This protects individuals from having important decisions made about them without their knowledge or consent, such as their medical records, religion, sexual orientation, etc.

There are many more liberties that an individual has, which is why it's so crucial to protect them with everything in our power. We must never give up on our liberties and always fight for freedom!

Ways to protect your liberty

Continuing on to share ways to protect your liberties, one way would be to take action in your community. Make your voice heard by attending meetings, activities, and events that are relevant to the issues you are passionate about. Don't sit on the side lines. If we don't stand up for what we believe in and stick together, how will anything change?

We can also continue to fight by voting and encouraging others to vote as well. Keeping informed is another great way to stay active in politics and voice your opinion. By staying informed one can keep up to date on current events and how they are evolving, which can lead into heated debates that influence others. In addition, be interested in politics. Get involved with the political process by running for office or just doing your own research when voting time comes around.

There are many ways we can protect our liberties; we need to stay active and involved. As Thomas Paine once said, "Those who expect to reap the blessings of freedom must undergo the fatigue of supporting it." If we don't fight for our freedoms and liberties, they could easily fade away as fast as they came.

What will happen if you let go of your liberties?

It's important to hold on to our liberties and freedoms, no matter how many laws are put in place restricting or limiting them. For example, it's our right to protest, but if there were stricter rules people wouldn't be able to voice their concerns according to the Constitution of the United States of America. That means that citizens would lose their Fifth Amendment rights , and that's just one example. Keep in mind that there are many more amendments in the Bill of Rights and it's important to hold on to them all. Imagine what life would be like if we let go of our liberties; we'd have no freedom of speech, assembly , petition, press, or religion . If we lose these rights, what rights will remain?

Conclusion

The importance of protecting our liberties is something that should not be taken lightly. When we give up these freedoms, it becomes much easier for oppressive forces to take over the country and manipulate the people into doing what they want them to do instead of what's best for their individual needs. In this blog post, you learned about some ways in which you can protect your own liberty, at all costs, so that no one else has a say in how you live your life or make decisions. It starts with being aware of when an external force may have influence on us and learning more about methods by which we can defend ourselves from such influences. Liberty isn't just important because it allows people to pursue happiness without interference; but also because without it, there would be nothing protecting us from the worst tyranny of all--self-oppression.
